Your Bio

Vicariously living through the camera lens. Rarely standing in front of it.

I encourage people to rate my images and leave comments. Hey, it's okay to bag on me as long as you leave some constructive criticism. The only way to grow is to do it better the next time.

Besides challenging that technical brain of mine, photography is my outlet for the creative brain as well. Kind of a balance, leaning on the geeky side. The whole purpose is to create the images that serve both halves, and add in as much fun as possible.

Vietnam Remembrance Day : In-Country Vietnam Veterans in partnership with the Vietnamese Community of Arizona and many other Veterans Organizations met on April 26, 2009 for Vietnam Remembrance Day at Wesley Bolin Plaza, Phoenix, Arizona. I decided to respect the ceremonies and not be too pushy in the crowd.

Photography: It's a balance of getting the shot and getting in the way. Both missed the shots and got in the way, I'm afraid. For instance, shooting during the notes and not the rests during "Taps".

Eldorado Park floods : 2008-01-28, the day after a big rain, Indian Bend wash filled up with water, to eventaully drain into the Salt River. My weather station recorded just over an inch of rain in 24 hrs. Must have been a lot worse upstream!

Christmas 2008 : Christmas at Heather's house. We watched Ryan open his presents (with a little help from daddy). Topped it off with a wonderful dinner! Comments are welcomed.

From 12-26, Carrie, Eric, Sharon and I went to La Pinata restaurant, talked and talked, and flashed a few pictures. The food was great!

Earth and Sky : This is the gallery that really excites me. These are great big objects, seen occasionally on earth the way I try to photograph them. Clouds, weather, sky, celestial objects are temporal. We need to grasp them when we can see them! Enjoy and please... leave comments.
